A study of survival and failure of Biounite implants was carried out

Residents of oral and maxillofacial surgery (CBMF) of the University of Los Andes (Chile), together with the oral rehabilitation program have worked since November 2014 in the planning, installation and rehabilitation of IOI donated by the company Biounite

Objectives

– To determine the rate of survival and failure of osseointegrated implants installed by the residents of CBMF in the CESA between 11/2014 and 05/2015.
– Describe the dimensions (width and length) of the IOI used in the implant program performed at CESA between 11/204 and 05/2015.
– Determine the most prevalent diseases of patients undergoing implant surgeries and the most frequent complications of these.
